One of the really nice things about Fender® instruments is that you can change the look of your instrument with relative ease. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is to replace the pickguard. Fender offers a variety of pickguards in different colors and materials to help you add a personal touch to your favorite Fender instrument.
Contemporary 8-hole mount pickguards with vintage-style neck pickup mount (no holes drilled for neck pickup mounting) and truss rod notch.
Originally designed to fit the '62 Tele Custom and Highway 1™ Telecaster.
Note: The screw mounting pattern is a modern 8-hole design, but the pickup must be mounted beneath the pickguard. This requires a deeper body cavity route and will not work with an American Special model.
